In December of 2022, our TruLaser Tube 3000 made an exciting addition to our production facility. The biggest reason for this addition was for its automation and new design capabilities that allow us to keep up with the demand of the furniture markets. Valley Design has been in business since 1986, and if there is one thing we’ve learned, it’s that in order to succeed, we need to continually evolve, so that our clients can benefit and we can stay competitive when it comes to production and quality. Increased Rate of Production
One of the main benefits of the Tube Laser’s ability is increasing the rate of production, which decreases the amount of time it takes to get the finished product to our clients.
“It really saves time,” says our Fabrication Manager Seth. “Especially since we can now load an entire bundle of tubing at a time, and easily switch between products as needed.”
Our Owner and Co-Founder Butch Isensee also found the machine’s speed surprising. “It’s impressive how quickly the fiber laser makes the cuts and how easy it is to program compared to our other machines,” he said.
More Innovative Designs
By speeding up the machine preparation and fabrication of our products, we are able to increase the manufacturing capabilities we currently have, while continuing to challenge ourselves moving forward.
“Looking beyond the speed and capabilities the tube laser offers, it’s ultimately a catalyst for new designs,” states Vice President of Sales Luke Isensee. “It has removed many of the roadblocks that we had experienced when drawing up new designs and opens the doors to new possibilities in the future.”
Our TruLaser Tube 3000 requires less tooling and set up than our previous machines, meaning we are able to sample and test designs quicker than we have in the past.

The addition of the TruLaser Tube 3000 also allows for better quality assurance so we can provide the best products and ensure every piece matches specifications perfectly. By removing all manual components and leaving the fabrication solely to this highly technical equipment, the margin of error is basically non-existent – resulting in the highest quality products for you and your clients.
