Strength and efficiency were our team’s priority when developing our newest table base. As part of the Tubular series, our new Scissor Base is able to support larger rectangular table tops while remaining a high-quality, yet cost-effective table base option that is sure to meet your customers’ needs.
Similar to our Radiused X-Base and Bullnosed X-Base, the Scissor Base utilizes an X-shaped table base for stability, but rather than using right angles, the Scissor Base utilizes obtuse angles. This provides the strength to support a long rectangular tabletop without the need for two end bases, making it a more cost-effective alternative for rectangular tables.
The base also creates extra leg room, making the Scissor Base ideal for dining applications such as booths or tables that will have multiple chairs along each side.
Available in three different sizes, the Scissor Base can support tabletops as large as:
- 24” x 36” with a 26” x 26” base
- 30”x 42” with a 30” x 30” base
- 30” x 48” with a 32” x 32” base
