Spring continues to emerge across the country and, for those working in the furniture industry, this means the summer rush is upon us for the educational, office, and hospitality markets.
This rush presents a challenge for many component manufacturers to complete orders in a timely manner due to little time to respond and heightened competition.
For our team at Valley Design, seasonal spikes for orders in the summer and fall can require weeks of production time that may not be immediately available on the production schedule due to demand, which further pushes lead times out beyond our normal 3 to 4 weeks to ship standard Product Guide orders. Larger-sized custom opportunities are also a challenge as we work to deliver superior customer service to all our active accounts.
In order to continue to provide a high level of customer service, we highly suggest communicating with our Customer Service Team well in advance—even if a purchase order isn’t finalized—so you will receive your order in a timely fashion.
