On September 12, 2024, we had the distinct honor of hosting Minnesota State Representatives Greg Davids and Duane Quam, alongside Bob Kill, President & CEO of Enterprise Minnesota.
It was a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our manufacturing capabilities and discuss the vital role of local manufacturing in our state’s economy.
During our discussions, we delved into the challenges and opportunities facing the manufacturing sector in Minnesota. We shared insights on how local manufacturers like Valley Design not only create jobs but also stimulate economic growth and support community development.
Bob Kill, along with Lynn Shelton and Robert Lodge from Enterprise Minnesota, provided valuable perspectives as industry advisors on the current climate and the initiatives that can strengthen our industry.
Our conversations emphasized the importance of investing in local talent and infrastructure to ensure a bright manufacturing future.
Ending this visit, Valley Design’s Butch and Luke Isensee led a tour of our facility, highlighting our cutting-edge technology and rich history that sets us apart. Emphasizing our precision engineering to our commitment to quality, we wanted to give our representatives a firsthand look at how we contribute to Minnesota’s manufacturing landscape.
