Evolving from ALEX to Focus
First known as the ALEX Series, it utilized aluminum extrusion (AL + EX) material to create a flat, low-profile main bar and a subtly curved surface, a pneumatic adjustable height column offered height adjustability. As the demand for flexibility grew, so did the capabilities of this pioneering product.
The evolution of the ALEX Series brought us the Focus Series, introducing a broader range of table base designs that are ideal for individual workstations requiring adjustable height, mobility, and nesting functionality.
The Focus Series
The Focus Series features two distinct table base designs that support smaller work surfaces and optimize workspace layout:
V-Base
With an 18” x 30” footprint and 30-degree angled legs, the V-base is ideal for nesting and compact storage. It supports work surfaces up to 24” x 30”, making it ideal for tight spaces or reconfigurable rooms.
H-Base
Designed to accommodate work surfaces up to 24” x 36” and available in both fixed height and adjustable height configurations, the H-base gives you the options to match your needs.
Additional Accessories
Like many of our table base series, the Focus Series is a fully adaptable system designed to support real-world flexibility.
Accessories like the Genu-Flip create a compact flipping mechanism that’s ideal for storage in dynamic spaces that require frequent reconfiguration, meanwhile the Genu-Tilt mechanism allows the tabletop to tilt 15 degrees, which is ideal for lecterns or drafting tables (see video at the end of blog). For added ergonomic precision, our drop-down kit provides an extra 2 inches of vertical adjustment.
Convenience features include a swivel cup holder that tucks neatly beneath the surface when not in use, and multiple mobility configurations including locking casters or a “wheel barrow” setup featuring adjustable levelers at one end of the main bar and concealed casters at the other, enabling users to lift and roll with ease.
