The global pandemic impact on the supply chain has caused material shortages and increased material costs across industries. Valley Design has worked hard over the past year to avoid passing these increases onto our partners, however, as with any business, we will need to increase our pricing due to costs we can’t control.
The sharp rise in steel, aluminum, coatings, and packaging costs have surpassed any market increase in recent history. This was a decision that we never take lightly and always promise to communicate any price adjustments to you with sufficient notice.
Effective June 1, 2021, Valley Design will implement a price increase of 6%. The increase will impact the standard products shown in our 2021 Product Guide. Active sales quotes and custom programs will be updated and communicated independently.
Any orders received and acknowledged prior to June 1st, 2021 will be at our current pricing. New orders submitted prior to June 1st, 2021 with current pricing will require a ship date of no later than July 31st, 2021.
It is important to understand that we may continue to face challenges with material availability which may lead to extended lead times. We continue to monitor levels daily and will do our best to keep customers affected informed of any changes.
