Valley Design’s Employee Sharing Tree has been making Christmas donations to Fillmore County and the Fillmore County Food Shelf since 2006. The Sharing Tree assists our local families in need with Christmas gifts, food, and donations. We are honored to be able to serve our community in such an impactful way.
This holiday season, Valley Design was able to make Christmas a little brighter for local families in need. We had the opportunity to sponsor 13 different children, providing gifts and donations. This year, SEMCAC received requests from 170 families in need, with over 400 children in total.
We joyfully presented Christmas in Fillmore County with 90 gift cards worth $25.00 each. These gift cards were presented to teenagers, who often are too old to enjoy the toy donations many tend to give. For the younger children, we provided various toys and books. In addition to the sponsorship and cash donations, we were able to donate three bags of books, toys, warm clothes, and more.
The sleigh of donations didn’t stop there! Valley Design employees also delivered just under 2 tons of food to the Fillmore County Food Shelf. Our staff were eager to help stock the shelves with canned and other non-perishable food donations. In addition to food donations, we were happy to present the Fillmore County Food Shelf with a check worth $2,275.00. They expressed sincere gratitude for everything Valley Design employees do for them throughout the year.
