Autophoretic 900 Series coating is a chemical rather than electrical deposition, which mean no "Faraday Cage" effect, therefor allowing coverage on the most intricate of details. The coating process encompasses a chemical reaction to metal (ferrous) material. It uses no heavy metals. It uses an epoxy resin suspended in a weak acid.

Our customer's parts are submerged using a hoist line rather than sprayed, which allows for interior coverage of parts. The parts go through a 12 step cleaning and finishing process including alkaline and acid wash, the wet pigmented resin, and finally to the oven to be cured.

The Autophoretic 900 Series allows Valley Coating Services to coat fully assembled parts, subassemblies, and assemblies of metal and other heat resistant materials without coating the nonferrous components.
