Autophoretic® 915 Series coating is a chemical rather than electrical deposition, which means no "Faraday Cage" effect, therefore, allowing coverage on the most intricate of profiles. The coating process encompasses a chemical reaction to metal (ferrous) material. Your parts are submerged using a hoist line rather than sprayed, which allows for interior coverage of parts. The parts go through a 11 step cleaning and finishing process including alkaline and acid wash, the Autodeposition process, and finally to the oven to be cured. The Autophoretic® 915 Series allows Valley Coating Services to coat fully assembled parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies of metal and other heat resistant materials without coating the non-ferrous components. This feature of the process is truly revolutionary. Plus, the Autophoretic®915Series can be powder-coated at Valley Design, or top coated with other processes as well.

Autophoretic 915 is an organic coating that offers extremely good corrosion protection on surfaces by means of autodeposition and without the use of electrical current. Because of the auto deposition process, the ACC coating is very uniform and is in fact self limiting in thickness. Autophorectic Coating is also RoHS Compliant.
